Overview
NeuroPlay Studio is a bilingual, inclusive space where neuroscience, play, and technology come together to nurture emotional connection and lifelong learning. Founded by Karla Proaño, a specialist in neuroeducation and leadership, the studio bridges the worlds of child development and educational innovation, supporting both children and the adults who guide them.
At NeuroPlay, we support children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and executive function development through play, neuroscience, and mindful use of technology. Our approach is grounded in the belief that emotional connection is the foundation of all learning, empowering children, families, and educators to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
Through every session, workshop, and interaction, NeuroPlay fosters environments where science meets empathy, and where learning becomes a journey of discovery, creativity, and connection for every child and every educator.
What Is the NeuroPlay Integrated Model?
The NeuroPlay Integrated Model is a holistic educational framework designed to:
• Strengthen executive functions (working memory, inhibition, cognitive flexibility)
• Support emotional and behavioral regulation
• Promote meaningful, developmentally aligned play
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and adaptive learning
• Integrate technology in ethical, brain-informed ways
• Guide educators through REPAL, a clear developmental sequence for supporting children
This model bridges neuroscience, technology leadership, and child development, offering tools that are accessible, practical, and aligned to real classroom and home environments.
Mission
Our mission is to empower educators, families, and young learners through a play-based, neuropsychology-informed approach enhanced by accessible technology. We aim to strengthen children’s executive functions and emotional well-being by creating developmentally meaningful, relational, and engaging learning experiences. Through innovation, compassion, and educational leadership, we strive to make high-quality neuroeducational tools and practices simple, practical, and available to all.
Vision
Our vision is to transform early childhood education by leading a global movement where play, neuropsychology, and accessible technology work together to nurture emotionally resilient, confident, and capable learners. We aspire to become a trusted reference in innovative, human-centered educational practices, empowering educators, families, and communities to create environments where every child can thrive, self-regulate, and develop strong executive function skills for lifelong success.
